Monday was a day off for us, so we just stayed in our pajamas all day! Emma groomed her horse and took him riding. We don't have a real horse, but the next best thing is the arm of the recliner, of course. She turned it into her horse. She loves horses!
Emma wrote a paper in school this week about what she would do if she were president. This is what she wrote. It is written phonetically so I will interpret for you, "All people have to ride horses and drive mustangs" Mustangs, of course, because they have a horse emblem.
This past Christmas, we received a Wii from the grandparents. I was looking forward to it, hopefully, getting used at least weekly or so. What I didn't expect is the great family time we would have playing it, almost nightly. Daddy bought a new bowling game this week and Donnie was told he could not play it until Daddy was able to play with him. Well, needless to say, last night Donnie beat Daddy 3 times in a row and had a good time celebrating his victories until Daddy took him down!! Daddy then gave him a lot of sweet kisses, which as you can tell, Donnie absolutely loved!
Sissy (a.k.a. Cursten) babysat for us Thursday afternoon while I went to my hair appt., and then she spent the night with us Friday night. We dressed JuJu up in her little bikini that she got for her birthday from Auntie Lynn and she looked so adorable! Sissy did not want to be pictured in this blog, so she is being portrayed by the back of her head.
Finally, Terry and I have a date night planned for tonight! I am super excited! These don't happen often enough for us nowadays! I have no idea where we are going! He has planned it and will not give me any hints, because I always figure out surprises. You will have to wait until next week's blog to see our date night pics! Happy Saturday!
